Our history dates back to 1607 when Skultuna Mill was founded by the Swedish king, Karl IX.

1935, Sweden

The first lamination operation began in Finspång, Sweden. Skultuna Flexible belonged to Gränges Aluminum, a major Swedish industrial group working with steel and aluminum.

The lamination operation moved to Skultuna, Sweden, focusing on laminates for the packaging industry.

1979, Belgium

Induflex was founded by UCB in Gent, Belgium. Induflex was a part of the industrial laminates section.

1992, Sweden

Skultuna Flexible becomes an independent, privately owned enterprise. The new company was focused on packaging applications and technical laminates.

Induflex was sold to Rogers Corporation with focus on high-end laminates for antennas, RFID, heater circuits, busbars, etc.

Skultuna Flexible becomes a consolidated unit within the Fairford Group, focusing on growth, investing in capacity with focus on technical laminates.

2008, Belgium

BV Capital Partners bought Induflex.

2009, China

2009, China

Skultuna Flexible opens a subsidiary in Beijing, China, in order to serve the Asian market.

Skultuna Flexible and Induflex merged, to become a stronger leading actor in flexible laminates. The main shareholders are Fairford and BV capitals.
