Skultuna Induflex uses a wide range of materials, on this page we list the most typical ones. Please contact us for information regarding other materials.

Plastic films

Plastic films are available from 4-250 µm thick in different widths. Below are examples of films that we usually
have in stock. Other variants might also be available.

PET-films Thickness (µm) Comment
Standard PET 12 / 19 / 23 / 36 / 50 / 75 / 125 / 250 Transparent
PET hs 23 / 36 / 50 / 75 Transparent
PET ehs 23 / 36 / 50 / 75 Transparent
Metallized PET 12

PET-films are available as UV stabilized, hydro resistant, flame retardant, heat sealable, food approved, and in different colors.
hs = Heat stabilized film | ehs = Extra heat stabilized film

PE-films Thickness (µm) Comment
LDPE 30 / 40 / 75 / 100 Transparent
HDPE 50 1st side Black/2nd side White

PE-films are available as food approved and in different colors.

PP-films Thickness (µm) Comment
OPP 30 Transparent
PI-films Thickness (µm) Comment
PI 25 / 50 / 75 Yellow-brown

Thinner PI-film=more yellow colour.

PEN-films Thickness (µm) Comment
Standard PEN 50 / 75 / 125 Transparent

We are able to use many different kinds of plastic film on reels in our lamination process.
Above are examples of plastic films that we are able to use but do not have in stock.

Metal foils

Metal foils are available from 7-100 µm thick in different widths. Below are examples of foils that we usually have in stock. Other materials and variants might also be available.
Al-foils Thickness (µm) Comment
Soft Al 8 / 9 / 12 / 25 / 50 / 100
Hard Al 9/12/25/50

Al-foils are available as annealed (soft) and hard-tempered. Our most commonly used alloys are 8079, 1200, 8111 and 8011 with Al content of at least >98%. There are no significant differences in properties between different alloys.

Cu-foils Thickness (µm) Comment
Cu RA 10 / 15 / 20 / 35 / 70
Cu Ed 12/18/35/70

Cu foils are available as rolled (RA) and electrodeposited (ED). RA is softer and more formative while ED is stiffer and more flat. Cu ED is available as non-treated, reversed treated and treated.
