Thin flexible laminates
The lamination process combines two or more materials to obtain new or improved properties.
Coating is a process of applying a thin, uniform layer on the film/foil in order to add specific characteristics to its surface.
Skultuna Induflex has extensive capabilities, allowing us to offer a full range of combinations for the production of thin flexible materials, paper and cardboard, creating a virtually infinite number of laminates. Ideal for shielding, conduction, flexible circuits, reflection, and more.
Laminates are manufactured from roll-to-roll:
• Metal foils 6–200 µm
• Polymer films 4–300 µm
• Papers and cardboards 40-500 g/m²
• Other thin materials on reels
Our standard range features two-layer laminates, but it doesn’t stop there. We can make up to 5 layers (max. width of 1600 mm), giving you impressive manufacturing flexibility. Laminates and raw materials can be enhanced with functional and decorative coatings and primers – including lubrication, corrosion protection and fire resistance.
